Why We Chose the Name Utopai Studios

We’re rebranding from Cybever to Utopai Studios.

The name reflects both our creative ambition and our foundation in artificial intelligence. “Utopai” blends two ideas: a utopia for storytellers and the AI that powers our pipeline. It captures our vision of building an AI-native film studio where technology supports the art of filmmaking.

Autocorrect loves to turn us into “Utopia Studios,” but it’s “Utopai Studios” — with ai — because artificial intelligence is part of our DNA.

This rebrand is more than a name change. It marks the beginning of a new chapter as we bring forward our debut projects, including Cortés and Project “Space,” and continue shaping what AI-native filmmaking can become.
