David Lin

David Lin is Head of Product for PAI at Utopai Studios, where he leads product strategy and development for the company’s Production Assistive Intelligence engine. His work focuses on translating the needs of filmmakers and production teams into tools, workflows, and product systems built for real creative production.

Before joining Utopai, Lin spent nearly four years at Meta, where he led product strategy for Facebook Video across recommendation systems and generative AI on a platform reaching more than 200 million daily users. Earlier, he co-founded and led product at Zuvio, which grew into Taiwan’s largest interactive classroom platform, with more than one million downloads across over 100 universities.

At Utopai, Lin brings experience building products at both startup and global-platform scale to the development of PAI, helping shape a production engine designed around creative control, professional workflows, and the way filmmakers actually work. He holds an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a master’s degree in computer science from National Taiwan University.
