Hyun Park

Hyun Park is President of Utopai APAC, leading the studio’s strategy, IP development, and production across the region. He oversees the sourcing, development, and packaging of original film and television projects for global audiences, with a focus on identifying distinctive stories, building the right creative teams, and developing projects with the potential to travel across markets and cultures.

Park founded Alquimista Media, which Utopai acquired in 2026, bringing an active slate of 15 scripted television series and feature films into the broader Utopai portfolio. Before founding Alquimista Media, he served as Head of the Global Division at Studio Dragon, co-headed Warner Bros. Korea, and co-founded the U.S. streaming platform DramaFever.

At Utopai, Park brings deep experience in international development, production, and distribution to the studio’s growing presence across APAC, helping connect original stories with the talent, partners, and audiences that can bring them to life.
