Carsten Kurpanek is Head of Production at Utopai Studios, where he oversees the execution of the studio’s growing film and television slate and the integration of traditional filmmaking with new AI-assisted production workflows. A veteran filmmaker and editor, Kurpanek brings decades of experience in feature production and post-production to the evolving ways stories are developed and made at Utopai.

His work focuses on bringing emerging technology into real production without losing the craft, judgment, and creative intention that define professional filmmaking. At Utopai, he helps shape production workflows that combine established filmmaking practices with Production Assistive Intelligence, using technology where it can expand creative possibilities while keeping filmmakers and production teams in control.
