As part of this vision, we are building PAI, an AI native production intelligence product designed to help filmmakers and creative teams turn creative intent into professional narrative content.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to help build the core product experiences of PAI. You will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and AI Research to define, build, and launch features used by professional filmmakers and creative teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping products, not just implementing requirements. You will own major product areas, contribute to product decisions, and help shape the technical direction and architecture of PAI.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end to end development of core product features across frontend and backend
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data systems
- Build collaborative workflows including project management, asset management, review, approval, and team collaboration
- Partner closely with Product and Design to rapidly iterate based on customer feedback
- Work with AI engineers and researchers to integrate agent capabilities into the product experience
- Help define technical architecture and make key decisions around scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Improve engineering practices, product quality, and development velocity
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Full Stack experience with deep Backend expertise
- Experience designing and building production grade backend systems and APIs
- Strong system design and software architecture skills
- Ability to independently own complex features from product definition through launch
- Experience building modern web applications and working with cloud infrastructure
- Strong product judgment and an interest in understanding user needs
- Comfortable moving quickly and working through ambiguity in a startup environment
- Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI powered products
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic workflows
- Experience building collaborative SaaS products
- Experience with Desktop applications
- Experience with media, video, filmmaking, or creative tools
